Autumn North

A lovely day of pottering, walking, chatting and eating! We headed to Hebden Bridge via a much less treacherous drive than last night.

After a potter round and some purchases, we found the doggie cafe. Not that Bailey was particularly impressed with his cake for dogs!

We walked up to Hardcastle Crags through dappled light via Gibson Mill which didn't disappoint. Although,  I had to be encouraged to be a bit more patient after a Labrador had disturbed the stillness of the millpond!

We scrambled up some good paths and ended the day in a lovely pub before leaving this quirky little place that had made us so welcome. I think we'll be back!
