Pickled Autumn

I wanted to take a photo of my collection of this year's conkers, but how? I was inspired by seeing a photo elsewhere on the net. Having eaten the contents of the preserving jar, I thought it would make a useful receptacle for the conkers. The acorns are a nice add-on.
