Going crazy
Last night I sent a message to my cousin. See, they're saying it will rain all weekend again. This time, I thought, I'll be prepared for the toddler craziness. So my text said: raining tomorrow. Want to go crazy together? she said yes!
So we drove there. It was my first outing with the two boys alone (aside from the park visits, of course). When we got there, she mentioned that a firehouse was having an open house. Perfect! There, Oli used a fire hose and was very proud of himself. He sat in the captain's truck, and we were about to go into the rescue boat when the firefighters had to leave for a real fire. Very exciting. Then, we had lunch, the boys played together, and the parents tried to talk.
Once home, everyone had a long nap, the kind from which you wake up a bit confused. We snuggled, watched a movie, had dinner, a bath, and the day was over.
Not bad!
