Fundraiser

On Friday evening we went along to the quiz night organised by the ringers at the tower where we learned to ring. They have the mammoth task of having to raise £175K to replace their worn out bells and frame and ensure that the sound of bells will ring out over the village for years to come.

The quiz night was brilliantly organised, good fun and well supported. And raised another £850 for the cause.

They also unveiled this target board that will be put up outside the church to show their progress. The total at the start of the evening was almost £55K. Later they received the news that they have been given an £18K grant by the Guild of Bellringers.
