Breeze

High winds in the hills today was a win for my front garden this afternoon. It is now weeded :-)

When I slipped inside through the back ranch slider (sliding door) I noticed the play of light and shadow as the curtain floated in the breeze. Nice.

I nipped over to my neighbour who kindly kept an eye on my place while I was away fishing. I cooked her a chicken as she has a family. I also took a bag of chips (crisps). They're not really hpx food and they'd returned with me from fishing. You should have seen eyes of one of her boys, they lit up like saucers. I think I made his day :-)

Today's gratitude: Time with a good and wise friend this morning. What a gift.
