Glass Fusion Firing

The glass kiln has heated up to 1359° as I type this. I will be able to open it tomorrow morning. The photo depicts something that was a failure in the last firing and subsequent drilling, (it broke while I was drilling!) And now I am trying to rectify it!

Sigh!
