Glutton for punishment

I had planned to get my bulbs planted this afternoon but I got distracted and dug up my cosmos plants instead. I had to trim them first and I have theee large bags to go for recycling. I thought that after the wind that is planned tomorrow they would get rather a battering. I have only just come indoors at gone 6pm. This is my lovely red rose having it’s day on blip.
My husband has been to visit his Mum in hospital and to talk to his Dad about getting some help for his Mum, we’ll see how that went. Apparently, she looked the healthiest in the ward so let’s hope her falling days are over.
