Last colours of summer

We did a stunning [ if exhausting ] walk today up a very steep escarpment behind the village called Fremington Edge. The wind up there was howling around us but the views were fabulous[ see extras]. On the way down there were touches of late summer and autumn in the hedges and road edges. Sore legs now though!
