But not just that. Friday the 13th is reckoned by some to be unlucky although I can't say I have ever noticed that effect.
Today, I was invited by the Cumbria Wildlife Trust to attend their AGM to be presented with the Golden Badgers Paw for long service to Howe Ridding Wood and Butterfly Conservation! If you squint at the photo a bit you may spot it!
After that I sped off down the M6 through pelting rain to collect Gilly in Preston and drive over to lovely sunny York for the gathering of the hens.
We checked in to our AirB&B and Andrew took us home for a curry and quiet evening with Katie before the exciting day tomorrow.
