A rude awakening

12th October 2017:

Laura Mc Andrew from the Wild Atlantic Way region of Ireland in Mayo is one of our four volunteers who arrived in Malawi this week.

If she thought that anyone would ease her in, I'm afraid she was disappointed (but she was well aware that there is no hanging around with our gang).

We are hoping she will write a series of blogs as she goes along and experiences first hand, how our organisation operates, without Government or Corporate funding on a tiny budget.

On this her second day in Malawi, she joined Florence on a visit to a remote Secondary School were we support a few girls
