To Eda and to Grace who was going off to a Rosebowl presentation at the Grand Hotel in the centre of Bristol this evening.

The Rosebowl is for performances in amateur productions all across the South West. She was nominated before for her lead role as Adelaide in Guys and Dolls with BAOS and this time it was for a supporting role as Tzeitel in Fiddler on the Roof last year with BLOC. Unfortunately she didn't win in either case but we feel it's pretty good to be nominated twice. There were three nominations for BLOC, the production, the lead role Tevye, and support Tzeitel. The guy who played Tevye won and I can vouch for the fact that he was excellent.

Still we started the evening with a toast to Eda who wore her first dress for the occasion over a baby grow (not that you can see it) and then accompanied Grace into town. We were in the hotel bar whilst the presentations went on upstairs in a function room. Eda was with us and again slept for the majority of the time, Grace just having to pop out for a feed after the presentations and then return for her meal.

A lovely return to Bristol but I think everyone is pooped now.
