Slipper orchid

I am so thrilled that my slipper orchid flower is opening at last. Not fully ope yet but getting there. As advised by an expert at RHS Hampton court I replaced the medium and it is flowering once more after 2/3 years

What a weird day. Uncannily warm this morning and this afternoon a red sun with a weird light. I just couldn't not capture the light at all. if we get a sunset after this My blip may be changed!
