St Peter

The start of a new project :- walking the St Peters Way. No me neither. But it starts at Ongar and finishes at Bradwell on Sea in Essex.

It turned out to be a remarkably scenic walk. A world away from TOWIE* with beautiful long views over the Essex uplands (see extra). The signposting was patchy though and we were frequently having to retrace and hike across fields where the farmer had ploughed up the footpath. And where landowners had diverted the footpath around their field without it being shown on the map.

An excellent pub lunch after waiting for an age. Turned out they had forgotten to pass our order through to the kitchen. And also forgot our drinks order. How about changing the pub name to The Amnesiac.

Back home in time to watch Strictly and catch up on last night's Cold Feet.
