Country road zoom
No faffing to get the zoom effect, a lucky accidental zoom because of the car movement ! For MonoMonday with thanks to JDO who set the theme as 'movement' today remembering the huge storm of 1987. How strange is it that today, 30 years later, is the day Ophelia hits Ireland and the British Isles ! Over here in the Borders I can't say we've noticed much, but keeping my fingers crossed it will stay that way. It was a weird day though, very little light, a greyish yellow sky and a red sun ! We went to Traquair House, then to Peebles, then to Dawyck Botanical Gardens and back via the hill road past the reservoirs off St Marys Loch.
I did spot some pink on the way for Pink October, Breast Cancer Awareness Month, see the extras. Bales of straw with colourful plastic near Innerleithen and plenty of pink spindle berries in the Dawyck Botanical Gardens. if you want, please follow this link and click on the pink button for free mammograms for those who can't afford them otherwise.
Thanks so much for your kind comments and stars for the sheep and the AT results yesterday !
