Conkers

Not a great day for a Blip today. While the sky was turning some weird colour down south, and Ireland was suffering a terrible storm, we had a more typical autumn day here; cold, wet and depressing.

So I have a nice we composition for you, a still life of thinks that had dropped from a nearby tree. Not because of strong gusts of wind, but because I suspect they just finally lost the will to cling on any longer.

Tomorrow we get the tail end of the storm formerly known as hurricane Ophelia, which will apparently meet us in very much reduced circumstances.
