Soller Tram

This morning we found a nice little beach at Portals Vells and did some swimming and messing around. 

This afternoon we drove up to Soller, and took the tram to Port de Soller.  Opened in 1913, this line still uses the original wooden trams (Triggers broom?), although the electricity now comes from the grid rather than a dedicated power station. 

We all enjoyed the ride from Soller (in a bowl in the mountains) down to the coast, and had an ice-cream to refresh ourselves before returning.
