BORDEAUX DAY 3

Had a quick swim and jacuzzi with The Rev (and Cornelius!!) O and M didn't join us as they popped out and treated us to a lovely surprise gift from the winery.
# Then we quickly packed and headed down for lunch at the brassiere where O had been working too. The food was delicious (but very overpriced) and sitting outside in the sunshine by the flower garden was lovely.
# Afterwards we drove to La Brede to visit a chateaux. It was an interesting visit. We had wanted to find a cafe but everywhere was closed :( so we returned to Les Sources de Caudalie for an €8 coffee each!!! (that didn't even come with a biscuit!). Still the surroundings were stunning.
We said goodbyes to O who still has another week left to enjoy the experience.
#Our flight was only delayed by 10 mins so we were home by 11pm.
It's been a fabulous weekend and I'm sure Cornelius enjoyed it's trip!
