Keeping A Promise

One of the things my Mum got me to promise her was that her uncle, who she never met, would no be forgotten.
Over the last five years I have included George in the Poppy Crosses laid on the ‘First Poppy Laying Day’, as part of the RBL ‘Every Man Remembered’ and last year on the centenary of his death a notice in the In Memorium column in a national newspaper.
This year the RBL are running the Honour The Fallen campaign with a paper Poppy displayed at Thiepval at this years Remembrance Commemerations.
