He loves gadgets, Mr. M.  This one reads your heart rhythm via your fingertips with a smartphone app and sends the results to a cardiologist for analysis. Cool, but I can also accurately tell whether his heart is in rhythm or not by his energy level, state of mind and duration/frequency of required afternoon naps. 

We were all ready to have a mini-vacay overnight at the hospital but didn't have to after all! Disappointing in a way...last time the deafening medivac chopper hovered right outside the hospital room window at 3 am before going up to set down on the helipad. And I rather like seeing all the med staff in action, they are pretty saintly, in my book.

Nothing like sleeping in your own bed, though. Wonderfully boring.
