Goldeneye....

in eclipse plumage, pheasants in the garden this morning   and a large flock of Longtailed Tits this afternoon show that the birds think it is definitely autumn.
We have been so lucky with our weather, unlike much of Scotland and Ireland. It was a warm and pleasant day. Good for walking.
