Sundog!

Lucky to have pocket camera to hand to catch this. Not sure how rare, but quite exotic if you ask me. Looks like a short whisp of rainbow, but in the wrong place (right next to the sun). It's a sundog, or parhelion, apparently. Formed by flat hexagonal ice crystals in high cirrus clouds, apparently.
