winging it

I can't believe I've reached 1,000 blips.  I feel as if I'm still winging it ....

The swan family of seven continue to enjoy the sunshine in our neck of the river.  The cygnets have all been practising their wing muscles....I don't know if they've flown yet...... when do they learn?  They don't have to fall out of a nest to learn that skill, rather it's to swim.  So what causes the flight imperative ?  It looks like it might be soon, although these swans tend to stay in the same area....
