Off the Rails

This afternoon we visited an art exhibition in what was the old Station Master's house at Ladybank station now converted into the "Off the Rails Arthouse". It was featuring 3 artists one of whom is a very good friend of ours ( not a blipper ) with the subject of the art work being trees.

As we were leaving I spotted this old set of railway buffers which  seemed to suit the name of the Arthouse as they are now definitely off the rails . At one time this was a very busy rail yard and although it is on a  busy main line most of the old building and sidings  are now derelict.

The extra shows a log pile I built this morning from a bag of logs delivered last night - I had covered it up with a thick plastic sheet weighed down with heavy logs but storm Ophelia tossed them aside overnight as well as disturbing my sleep - thankfully it has now blown away over the North Sea!
