Stairs Before Daybreak

I was awake and on our patio well before sunrise this morning. The view of our complex's entry caught my attention as I sipped my coffee. This is a popular subject for me, but I usually shoot it in full color for maximum impact. Today I must have been more introspective as I preferred this moody interpretation (helped along by some post processing in NIK Color Effects Pro).
