Collapsing housing market?

These for sale signs obviously took a bit of a bashing during yesterday's storm.  As did the tree that fell across a driveway that we passed on our morning walk (extra).  A bitty day of writing up, shopping, clearing up small debris.  The weather has calmed now but more storms are forecast for this weekend, when we are due to cross by ferry to France :(
