Turning colour

Today I went to Castle Drogo with a friend to help her recce a walk she is leading in the area. We only had a very light spot of rain during the day, it started raining heavily just as we returned to the car. We walked along Hunter’s path to Fingle’s Bridge, then went uphill through Hore Woods to Cranbrook Castle Fort, then back down to the river, taking photos and looking for the elusive dipper. I am sure I saw one but it got away too quickly.
