The Hydro

The newest landmark on the Clyde is beginning to take shape. That's it (the Arena) on the right beside some other iconic sights.

The Hydro will have a 12,000 seated capacity for concerts conferences and events.

Modelled on Greek and Roman amphitheatres. When its completed next year I am guessing it will be a much photographed building - 45m tall with its silver dome and translucent materials used in the facade will cause the building to appear to glow at night.
