The Old Mill

I need to come back to Confolens if only to take more picture of this place, I didn't have the chance to photograph it when the sun was right - so many beautiful trees along the river.

In the morning it was nice and sunny - so we took the bikes out for a ride to the next village. Of course it had to start raining as soon as we got there - and only cleared up after we'd got home for the day. We then went for a nice lunch (that may have taken a few more hours than expected) and visited a lovely wee place on the way back home. As it was still sunny I took the opportunity to take some photos of the river. In the evening we had a BBQ with some home made salsa. I was really glad that the weather was clearing up as it was almost our last day!
