Travellers' Tales

To camera club for a fascinating evening of presentations* of a selection of our pictures from various travels. Not a travelogue but an explanation of why we like them and the reasons we think they work. Here is a group pic of the presenters. From left:

Me: photos of the Charente-Maritime where I spend a lot of holidays;
Brian: A beautiful series of landscapes in the Lake District;
Susi: Stunning shots of Myanmar and elsewhere;
Alan: Fascinating portraits, birds and mono shots based on themes rather than places;
Ilya: Gorgeous scenes and vignettes from a foodie trip to Cambodia;
Des: An eclectic selection including Japan, Cuba and Hull.
Natalie: prize winners from South America, Docklands and Florida. What wow shots. Semi abstract - the sort of thing to hang on the wall. Very inspirational.
