Towering between the autumn foliage

For years I've wondered what this church tower was, you can see it clearly from the M9 when passing Stirling just before the Dunblane roundabout. Today we drove from Lanark to Perth and back from Perth via Gleneagles and the glen to Dunfermline, passing loads of familiar places, but unusual for us to pass them in autumn. I silently waved at all the friends we were passing by, we'll see you all in April/May hopefully.
This tower turns out to be the tower of the Lecropt  Kirk , Parish Church of Scotland near Bridge of Allan. It is always looking imposing, but certainly so in the middle of these autumn colours. Taken from the car :-)

Although this part of Scotland is only sort of home a couple of weeks per year I hope I can add this to the Community Challenge about the colours of the season.

There wasn't much pink around this trip, although I did notice several funny displays of plasticised hay bales, but they were usually on the side of DJ who was driving (in a left hand wheel European car). When in Perth (amongst other things to deposit our stacks of British coins including the now defunct pound coins at our bank there) I saw the pink and purple bus, see the extra.
