Rose

This is the only flower from a very small rosebush in the back garden which was almost being suffocated by nearby bushes. I really like the colour of the petals, we don't have any others of that shade anywhere in the garden.

Busy day today; worked from home so got through a huge pile of work when there were no distractions. It is a bit lonely though, so I wouldn't want to do it very often. And it rained at all the most inopportune times so I didn't get out for a walk or into the garden for more than the 3 minutes it took to grab some photographs.

Back to reality tomorrow with a few meetings to go to. I should also be back to the gym for the first time in almost 3 weeks. Just as well it's the relative ease of body balance; I'm recovering from a cold as well as trying to rid myself of the slothfulness.
