Rugged rocks and rough seas...

...for Wild and Wide Wednesday today ( I have checked, and it is Wednesday, allegedly... ) thanks Cailleach and Bob ;)
We were aiming for another Levada walk this morning, but since it was damp and misty we headed for the north coast instead, via Ribeiro Brava for second breakfast.
A short stop for amazing waves at Ribeiro Janela before coffee at Porto Moniz - no volcanic pool bathing though, as the red flag was up!
Calheta for lunch in the sun, then a little late Levada walk near Rabacal to the Ribeiro Grande pool & waterfall.
Finished off the day on a closed road - unintentionally - but we avoided falling rocks and survived to tell the tale... Phew...
