Can you see any signs of autumn?

Went up to Forest School again this afternoon, having spent the morning locked in a room enduring a very tedious course. We looked for signs of autumn all around us, then made dens or leaf curtains.

I was tasked this week with getting the Kelly kettle lit and the hot chocolate made - oh my goodness me! How hard was it to get a little fire to catch and hold?! It took forever. Then I misjudged the amount of hot chocolate we required and three poor children had to then wait.....whilst I tried to light the fire yet again and get another lot of hot water going - never again! Non of this practice makes perfect malarkey! Extra is my second set of dying embers in the bottom of the kettle.
