Hanging On!

A visit to Glamis Castle today and after a very welcome coffee and scone we took one of the very interesting castle tours .... lots of stairs, magnificent ceilings, carvings, furniture and paintings..

Then it was outside for a walk through the castle grounds where there are some magnificent trees ..... many surrounded by a carpet of fallen leaves.

Our walk through the grounds took us to the Pinetum whrere we followed the  Macbeth Sculpture Trail. My favourite is the sculpture depicting the Three Witches  gathered round their cauldron.
