The Organ St. Giles Cathedral Edinburgh
Katkatkat had to be in town in the morning, so we jumped on a bus and did the tourist thing. While Kat was getting on with what she needed to do Clickychick and I took refuge from the weather in St Giles Cathedral. What a fantastic building.
The stained glass windows were extremely impressive and all over the place. However the massive organ caught my eye. There is something about all those pipes and the size which I found impressive. The £2 fee for taking photographs was in my opinion more than very reasonable.
After we rejoining Kat we went back the flat for lunch followed by a visit to The Secret Herb Garden and Pentland plants. Rounding off the day with a meal in the Calley Sample Room.
