By The Book

PD wanted to go on a longer walk this morning ......... Fair enough.
We walked through the woods - complete with loads of leaves not showing the slightest bit of colour change.
I did another slow shutter shot - just a shame I couldn't get all the fern in and lose the branch in the top right.

I put the finish on the whistles - the Elder has a very spongy center so that was 'plugged' with a contrasting wood. The Cherry ones are chunkier and more 'rustic'.

We visited SWMBO's sister who has had a new hip operation. She now has got back the 2 inches of length she had lost due to the bone dying and crumbling..

The camera club had their first competition ths evening. 
The judge obviously had her 'book of Rules' in her handbag.
It meant she was pretty consistant ........ consistanly following other peoples 'rules'!
If there is an eye in the picture, it must be sharp ....... Why?   (13/20)
She couldn't work out the coloured sky was Aurora    (17/20
The wall at the far end is "completely burnt out" apparently    (15/20)
