Darkness approaching
This was the day storm Ophelia arrived in Ireland. All over the UK there were strange colours in the sky and in some places they could see a red sun. Here in the East Neuk, there was an eerie atmosphere. It became much darker than this and there was a yellowish hue to the atmosphere. However, we didn't get very strong winds, just the usual ones we often get over here.
It was said that the strange colours and darkness were caused by Saharan dust and dust from the fires in Spain and Portugal.
I was working. It was a good Monday as we got a fair amount of visitors. I was also asked to take photos of a dining table at work for our website, which I did. They seemed pleased with them.
Didn't do much in the evening.
Thanks very much for your lovely comments and stars. I hope you all had a good day! :)
