Fishing Trap

From Bath yesterday to the south of France today!

I am on a tour with my choir and we are all here near Montpellier to sing The Messiah on Sunday. Several of us were on an early flight out of Gatwick this morning so we are now very tired. There was a little bit of drama before take off when a passenger was escorted off the plane to a waiting police car and put in hand cuffs. This information was from one of our group who was closer and could see a bit of what was happening. That's all we know, but it did cause a bit of a delay as the crew needed to check that all the luggage remaining on board was owned by one of the passengers and not the one that had got off!

The rest of the flight was uneventful. We picked up the hire car and headed for our hotel which​ is awful. We will make the best of it and still have fun and, after all, we will only sleep here.

We went to see the area of water near Maguelone where we will be performing and then on to look at a beach. The south of France at this time of year is deserted and very different from the high season summer; deserted.
