Stone Rows
This is one of the rarer triple stone rows in Dartmoor which was our first grid reference to find on our second map Reading session today. We were really lucky with the weather, the rain held off until we got back to the car. We walked about 6.5 miles on a course starting and ending in South Zeal. It was fairly bleak and we didn’t meet any other ramblers. I think I have learnt a bit more about how to use a compass. So in 6 days, I have walked twice on Dartmoor and once on Exmoor, that’s enough for this autumn.
