Late night flowers

My desire for photography has been at a low ebb this week, thanks to a combination of too much report writing, a mild cold virus and some fairly uninspiring weather. 

I spent this evening preparing my cameras and lenses for the wedding shoot that I'm doing on Saturday - crossing my fingers that the rain holds off and we don't get blown away by Storm Brian. Hopefully the marquee will be held down with a lot of guy ropes!

I spotted these flowers on the table, the last few remaining from Alex's birthday, and thought they looked quite attractive backlit by an LED lamp. At least they'll fill a place and stop my journal from having too many gaps...
