BRA Day 2017

Finally able to attend the BRA Day event in Toronto, after trying for the past 4 years! It stands for Breast Reconstruction Awareness Day and is in its 7th year. It started in Toronto and is now an international event offering education and support to women. My surgeon spoke as well as my good friend who is a specialist in tattooing. It was a great, hugely informative and supportive event. The Show & Tell lounge was veey popular. My breast friend/neighbour came downtown and joined me for dinner at my fav restaurant Ravi Soups then we went together to the event. I ran in to a number of friends, it was sad that we had to be there because of breast cancer but we all made the best of it and enjoyed the collective love & support that filled that room! Home late, packing and cleaning as we hit the road early tomorrow for Boston.
