A rose for Robert Burns

For Flower Friday, with thanks to Anni/Bikerbear for hosting, a wet red, red rose  found at the front of the Burns monument in Alloway combined with my very own red rose over there as part of a contribution to get the monument restored. They dropped an H !! See some of the contribution roses and the back of the monument in the extra.

We drove from Dunfermline to Troon, passing over the new Firth of Forth bridge for the very first time for us :-) From the hotel in Troon overlooking the Royal Troon golf links we drove to Alloway to have a look at the monument, the Brig o' Doon and the Auld Kirk Yard. Now back in the hotel with a brilliant view but bad internet ;-)

My pink today is a bunch of pink roses growing on/near the Brig o'Doon !
