'Red is the colour that my true love wore....'
So sang Donovan, in the 1960s, and maybe he still does. The song was written by Buffy St Marie, a Native American, who also wrote 'Soldier Blue' for the film of the same name. It was about the Sand Creek Massacre, one of the many genocidal actions perpetrated by the US on the native population. I noticed that the berries are all turning a darker shade of red.
Extra: Rogue cruiser boat makes its way home.
