It could only be ....
Paris.
A morning sightseeing and a David Hockney exhibition at the Pompidou Centre. We first visited there 40 years ago as impoverished students. Now we visit as not-so-impoverished-but-still-careful retirees. The exhibition was wonderful; particularly liked his Yorkshire trees and the tablet stuff.
And a long lunch followed by a stroll
up the right bank past the Louvre.
It is such a lovely place.
