Advantages

I was called out last night for a few hours, till after 5am, my work colleagues kindly covered my work today. This allowed me to get some sleep, then do some paperwork at home.

It also meant I could have a cheeky walk in the middle of the afternoon round the tarn with mum. Followed by plum ice-cream, it was delicious. Mum bought this early Christmas decoration the other day and couldn't get it to work, it just needed the batteries tweaking.

Mum cooked a tasty dinner for us this evening. Tom has a gig. I'm now settling down to watch Cold Feet.
