Think I need a manicure.

Haven’t mentioned yet but we are having major work done to our shower (again!!!). It was repaired/replaced 3/4 years ago but they now believe it has been leaking since it was originally put in about 9 years ago. This has lead to the beams that support the bathroom floor and are part of the basement ceiling rotting. The shower has been completely ripped out including the floor (you can see straight into the basement). Tiles , plaster removed back to brick work. The lower part of the damp wall completely removed so there is a big hole from the shower room into our front room.

So today I spent most of it shut in the other room with Ruby while the men did their job. Although if I’m honest I think actual work time could be condensed into 1.5/2 hours. They sprayed something for dry rot before they left that smells yucky and will be back on Monday to hopefully start to replace the timbers.
