Friday feeling

Nice to have a day off and we started with a wander down to town and breakfast at Urban Angel....with K’s own version of eggs benedict. After a browse around some shops and a bargain buy in Anthropologie I hopped on the tram to the airport and had a fairly uneventful journey to Bristol.
Lovely to see T* doing her inaugural.....who would have thought she’d arrive here all those years ago as we battled through her PhD. Met up with KF again but otherwise knew no one but enjoyed chats with her family and work colleagues over dinner.
Glad I came...even though I’ll have to get up at 5am to catch the plane back
