The art of falling asleep (2)

We travelled to visit my dad today. He's finally out of hospital and starting to feel better, so will be convalescing a little longer before going home. Henri was quite the little start among the older residents.

Our trip home was hindered by traffic, though, so when we arrived, we had been in the car for 2 hours without stopping (aside from the bumper to bumper section of the highway).

Falling asleep: Olivier needed me to fall asleep until about 2 1/2. He had to be on me, or to touch me, or to at least be near me, as he progressed towards independence. Henri? I'm discovering that he wants me near, but there are moments when he needs his space. Case in point, tonight: he dropped his pacifier and was crying, so I put him on his play mat to retrieve it. And he fell asleep. I'll have to move him to his bed, but he seems pretty comfy at the moment!
