pink, pink, pink...

i found this beauty in the sale bin - at one of the local markets - how could i possibly pass it by - when 1st off it's pink - and 2nd it's an orchid - even though i fuss over not knowing how to - deal well with them & ending up killing them off - i just couldn't walk by without picking it up - giving it a home - so there you have it

of course there's also the reminder of this being pinktober - or bcam to take good care of ourselves - i have done that very thing myself - going through them finding a suspicious something, something - on my scan - needing to go for a follow-up - trying very hard not to 'freak out' - they were very good showing me the 1st scans - where the 'spot' was/is located - seeing it 1st hand i admit was a bit scary - staring at me from the screen - we did 2 sets of follow-up (mammogram & ultrasound) and push come to shove - we decided to 'wait' for 6 months - to rescan again - i understand this is pretty much the norm - with these things and i will try hard to be calm over - the next 6 months - it's important to me to celebrate every day - understanding with new technology it can lead to...
