All Hail...

I have literally never seen anything like it! The heavens had properly open! One minute I was walking back from lessons, the next thing I know, it's hailing like you wouldn't believe, for a good 5 minutes! The gutters filled up in seconds and the sound was ear-piercing. I have never seen such big pieces of hail in all my life, literally the size of gobstoppers, so it was quite amazing so see them almost cracking the flags!
Unfortunately I couldn't get to my camera quick enough so I couldn't capture them in full flow but I managed to get the aftermath! What was even more strange is that after it had all cleared, the sun came out for the rest of the evening!! Bizarre!
Today has been pretty uneventful apart from this ordeal!
I had a singing lesson today and I am starting to learn 'Feeling Good', but the Nina Simone Version which I think is the best because it is a lot more earthy and swingy so am really excited because it is one of my favourite songs! Who knows, I may sing this in Unplugged next Friday night?
